Constitutional Homeopathy Sessions

I’m happy to offer this a la carte option of constitutional homeopathy only in addition to my larger, comprehensive healthcare sessions.

Those familiar with homeopathy know how profound and effective it can be. For those unfamiliar: homeopathy is an independent system of medicine that identifies and treats the pattern of imbalance spanning a person’s physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health at any given time.

Resultingly, it can have incredible and wide ranging effects, across the individual’s entire system, in a natural, inexpensive, and non-toxic way.

FAQ

  • What’s the procedure for requesting and having a session? >

    • Start by filling out the appointment request form below.

    • If your request is accepted (see below), we can discuss any questions you have via email or phone, before you make a final decision to proceed.

    • When you are ready to go forward, either right away after your request is accepted, if you have no questions, or after your questions are answered, you’ll fill out a few basic forms re: informed consent, privacy, and your medical details, as it applies to homeopathy (hate forms? see further down in this FAQ), and I will send you an invoice.

    • Depending on what you say in the form and whether I need clarification, we’ll chat a bit more or not.

    • Within 7 days of receiving both the completed form and payment, I will send you the name of your remedy, a link to order it, instructions on how to take it, and when to schedule the follow up.

  • What is the cost and how frequent are check-ins? >

    • Both initial and follow up sessions are $200 each. Frequency varies based on the individual’s needs, but the most common intervals between sessions are 3 weeks, 6 weeks, and 3 months. There is no obligation to continue sessions; each is scheduled and paid for one at a time.

  • Is the remedy included in the session/cost? >

    • No, I don’t sell or carry homeopathics. I will send you a link and instructions on how to order from a third party retailer (which one varies, depending on the remedy needed and what country you are in). The cost is generally between $10-20. Shipping may be more expensive, if you choose an expedited option or live in a country where there are not great domestic options.

  • Why do I have to request a session and possibly be turned down vs. just scheduling? >

    • For homeopathy to work best, I’ve found that it has to be the right timing and stage of a person’s healing process.

    • There are many tools that can be used for healing and, in my opinion, none of them, including homeopathy, is the right thing for everyone all of the time. This means that at the wrong time, it’s ineffective and not worth someone’s time or money to pursue.

    • Please don’t take it personally, if your request is turned down. It’s simply a screening process to avoid wasting your resources.

  • Will this work for ______ symptom/disease? >

    • Homeopathy can potentially assist with any symptom or disease, however, piggybacking off of the previous question, it is not always THE treatment needed for a particular symptom or disease.

    • As a simple example, let’s say that you have headaches because you barely drink any water. Homeopathy isn’t going to remove your headaches, because it’s not going to magically make you hydrated.

    • But, when a remedy is chosen and used correctly, it improves your health overall in many ways, that can be hard to predict. Sometimes it includes the issue a person has in mind (especially when it’s for an acute problem vs. a longstanding one) and sometimes that requires a more comprehensive approach, beyond homeopathy.

    • However, homeopathy is still incredibly useful, because whether or not it rapidly removes a particular symptom, it does strengthen the person’s system—making them more vital, more adaptable, more able to handle new stressors and deal with old ones, and closer to the ideal health that they can have, in a way that few other treatments are able to do.

  • What is your homeopathic education and experience? >

    • Bastyr University, 2009-2013.

    • New England School of Homeopathy with Paul Herscu and Amy Rothenberg, 2010-2011.

    • Clinical experience since 2011.

  • How are you different?

    • Instead of the traditional means of determining homeopathic remedies, involving multiple hour interviews and often getting the wrong remedy for months or even years, I use the same, unique methods I use in my larger clinical work to choose the right remedy and all the details that go with it (dose, potency, and other details) precisely and correctly the first time.

    • Using non-traditional means is controversial among homeopaths, but I believe the proof is in the efficacy, and I have seen remarkable results through my work.

  • Can I move to your comprehensive healthcare sessions, if I start here? >

    • You are welcome to let me know that you would like to, but having homeopathy sessions does not automatically mean that you are a candidate to move to comprehensive sessions. That will need to be evaluated separately. Also note: having homeopathy sessions does not bypass the waitlist for comprehensive sessions.

  • I am totally over filling out forms. Do I have to fill out the homeopathic intake form? >

    • This request form: yes. The intake form, if your request is accepted: no. You have the option of going over the questions verbally with me on the phone at my standard clinical rate of $400/hr, in 15 min, rounded up increments. This is also an option if you just prefer a more hands on and conversational approach—just let me know.

    • This is the only place that there is a possible extra charge outside of the $200 per session.

  • Refunds/cancellations? >

    • You can back out at any time before you’ve sent your payment for each session. After that, there are no cancellations or refunds.

  • Isn’t homeopathy fake or at least a placebo? >

    • No. A full answer is for somewhere else, but in short: it works even on babies and animals, who can’t have expectations about whether or not it’s supposed to work and how.

    • The history and science behind homeopathy is rich and fascinating. Anyone who believes it must be bunk is simply unfamiliar with the data and/or too narrow-minded to consider something outside of their current understanding of the world.

Things You Should Know:

  • Homeopathy does not take the place of primary or comprehensive medical care >

    • This is an excellent addition to larger medical care. Any given person is likely to have needs outside of homeopathy and these sessions are not assessing or addressing those needs.

  • These sessions are for homeopathy only >

    • Unless we agree to switch the type of care you’re receiving (based on my availability, suitability for your needs, and other factors), assessments and treatments offered are solely homeopathic.

  • Homeopathy can cause what are called “aggravations” and “provings” >

    • These are minimal and rarely seen with the way I practice, but they’re possible and you should know they exist:

    • Homeopathic aggravation is a temporary and physically harmless exaggeration of one or more of your existing symptoms and is generally followed by a resolution or improvement of that symptom. For example: if I have a cough, after I take my remedy, my cough might get worse for a short period and then after that, it’s improved or gone.

    • A proving is when new symptoms arise that are characteristic to the remedy and were not in the person before. For example: I prefer coffee to tea. I took a remedy (the wrong one) while in school and still learning, and fell in love with and craved tea for about a week before that effect wore off. Sometimes they are less comfortable than enjoying tea, but like aggravations, these are also temporary and not harmful.

  • Results from homeopathy can either be stunningly fast or gradual and subtle >

    • Sometimes with homeopathy you see incredible results almost immediately. Sometimes it takes repeated doses of a remedy to see even slow shifts in the right direction. Most often it’s somewhere in the middle.

    • Which way it goes is difficult to predict well, and depends on many things: the person, the type of remedy they need, how chronic or acute their issue is, how healthy/not they are, other medications or treatments they’re using, etc.

    • Especially if a person is chronically ill, progress can be slow, but there are few things that can improve a person’s condition over the long term in the ways that homeopathy can, when used with patience and precision.

Constitutional Homeopathy Appointment Request

Please note: if your request is accepted, you do not have any obligation to proceed, and do you have the opportunity to ask any questions via email or phone before deciding to go forward.
